The event went great. We had performance from Susan Kerunen who gave me a cd. (love you) Dr. Susan Kiguli ripped the stage open with her Luganda and English poems. Susan is a poetic genius. Each participant received a certificate and the first five received an autographed copy of Dr. Susan Kiguli's African Saga and ken Monyoncho's How to Save Money for Investment. The first three received cash prizes as well 250 USD, 150 USD and 100 USD respectively. In October, there will be a workshop and priority goes to the participants of the BNPA 2009 and 2010.
Thanks for making it happen and thanks to the sponsors, Doen Foundation, Bayimba Cultural Foundation and Amakula Kampala Cultural Foundation.
